Questions and answers

Azubi Mobil is a 3- or 4-week internship at one of our international subsidiaries. In this program, HAVER & BOECKER foreign subsidiaries offer the possibility of a taster internship during the NRW summer vacations, where trainees can get to know smaller projects or accompany colleagues at work on site.

Depending on the support available at the subsidiaries, internships are offered for various training backgrounds, e.g. for industrial clerks, technical product designers, electronics technicians for industrial engineering, IT specialists, industrial mechanics, mechatronics technicians (m/f/d).

The aim of the program is to promote mobility within the Group, strengthen the language and intercultural skills of the trainees and achieve international networking.

In principle, every trainee has the opportunity to take part in Azubi Mobil, which is made possible by the range of internships on offer in the foreign companies, which varies from year to year.  Different internships are advertised each year, for which trainees with the appropriate training background can apply. Trainees must be at least 18 years old when they start their internship and must not yet have passed their final exams, but should be as far along as possible in their training in order to be able to draw on the broadest possible knowledge and experience within the company.

Information on the internships from the previous year can be found here below in the internship reports and on the training Instagram channel: haverboecker_azubis where you can also find some more pictures and impressions.

Suitable trainees apply for the internships in response to the advertisements and are selected in consultation with the specialist trainers, the HR department and the foreign companies. HAVER & BOECKER organizes and supervises the internships abroad with regard to the necessary organizational points, travel and accommodation bookings, preparation and follow-up as well as on-site support.

HAVER & BOECKER bears the total costs of the internship (travel and accommodation costs as well as local expenses), i.e. the trainees only incur private costs for leisure activities, for example. HAVER & BOECKER receives financial support from AusbildungWeltweit, a BMPF program to promote international learning stays, and ERASMUS+.
