Our offerings regarding apprenticeships
The start into the work world is an important and significant step for young people. We make sure that it's not only easy for them, but also a lot of fun at the same time. And we do so with many offerings regarding apprenticeships, which we offer both to our own trainees and to external companies.
We've already successfully trained over 3,000 apprentices. Since 1905, we've been training highly motivated people who are willing to learn and want to become part of our team!
Interdisciplinary projects
Our trainees have already launched a wide variety of projects. Currently, the HAVER & BOECKER ROTO-PACKER® Bricks Edition - a replica of our machine - is in full swing. Tablets have been introduced for the apprentices and there's also to be a 3D printer.
A popular former apprentice project is also our Machine Quartet - a card game that introduces our apprentices to the world of Haver & Boecker.
In-house training
As part of the apprenticeship, we offer courses and in-house training that ideally prepare our apprentices for their final exams and work life. This includes, for example:
- Language courses that we adapt individually to the language level of the trainees
- Our plant training center, where vocational school topics are repeated again
