HAVER Architectural Mesh with General Building Approval
Facade claddings made of wire mesh from Haver & Boecker have been tested by the German Institute for Structural Engineering (DIBt) and are now granted with the certified general building approval (abZ). Woven wire mesh façades made of HAVER Architectural Mesh therefore meet the requirements regarding standard-compliant building products for façades in line with the German Model Building Regulation (MBO). The granted abZ Z-14.7-923 includes not only facade cladding, but also wall and ceiling cladding, as well as parapets and fall protections made of stainless steel wire mesh.
Advantages of the general building approval
The abZ applies to the wire mesh types DOGLA-TRIO 1033, EGLA-TWIN 4253, EGLA-DUO 4262, DOKAWELL-MONO 3601 as well as the wire cloth MULTI-BARRETTE 8123 by Haver & Boecker. Together with the associated mounting systems, they are now classified as certified building products and can be used throughout Germany in accordance with state building regulations.
The further advantages of the abZ for architects, metal workers and building owners are obvious: In addition to cost and time savings, the abZ provides planners and installation companies with tested and binding design and performance values. In addition, the abZ offers better planning and application security for wire mesh claddings as well as more legal certainty.
As a regulated and approved building product by the German Institute for Building Technology, HAVER Architectural Mesh offers architects, builders and metalworkers obvious advantages in the planned implementation of metal mesh façades, as well as wall cladding and fall protection in interior and exterior areas.
