Norwegian start-up revolutionises the water treatment sector

The Norwegian start-up Renasys has made it its mission to transform water filtration and wastewater treatment. With our strategic partnership, we support Renasys and contribute to making the world cleaner. The start-up uses our MINIMESH® RPD-HIFLO S filter presses for its proprietary particle filtration system, which ensures that 99% of wastewater particles over 5 microns are removed.

This fine particle filtration is currently being introduced in municipal wastewater treatment plants in Norway. By providing extremely good filtration, Renasys is contributing to the decarbonisation of the wastewater sector in its "Mission Zero" with our filter presses. With the system, significantly more particles can be filtered out of the water than is prescribed in Norwegian wastewater treatment. The wastewater sector is not the only potential application for the high-performance system. There are also promising applications in shipping, the textile industry, agriculture or consumer goods.
