Increase your performance
Increasing performance and reducing costs — these are the goals of our Plant Optimization Plan (POP). This basic service allows you to achieve the optimum configuration of your existing system.
POP involves HAVER & BOECKER system specialists inspecting your entire line — from product storage and handling to packing and bag transport to palletizing and loading, as well as surrounding equipment and environmental factors in the plant. We look behind the scenes of every individual machine to assess how the packing system integrates into the overall plant process. Our system specialists provide a detailed report to customers with a current operation overview, areas of improvement and updated recommendations for their packing process, classified by level of urgency. The main question: How do you, as a customer, achieve your Perfect Flow?
Understand your needs
Optimization is carried out individually according to your needs with the help of our Plant Optimization Plan. We determine your needs through an interview. Then, our engineers evaluate and collect data. The goal: a detailed analysis of your system. You determine which measures you ’d like implemented under a separate contract based on our recommendations.
Make your maintenance more effective
If you move forward with the recommended improvements to your packing plant, we individually adapt and optimize your process based on the Plant Optimization Plan. Service is planned in advance and takes place when it fits into your production flow. The portfolio includes in-depth retrofit advice and staff training in our Customer Training Center, and a list of common production disruptions that show typical areas for improvement.
Operate your plants optimally
Conversion consulting is an essential component during the POP. Because it is not always guaranteed that all spare parts are in stock for older machines, we advise you to modernize outdated components. System specialists will provide in-depth retrofit advice via a detailed POP report.
Our system specialists code each finding with a red, yellow, and green tagging system to show the severity of the issues being faced. You receive the final report, complete with recommendations, in your individual file. Then, the system specialist explains the POP results in detail. With input from plant and maintenance managers, the HAVER & BOECKER team completes the suggested improvements to the packing line.
