Stainless steel wire mesh can be utilized to filter sunrays, creating an aesthetic sun protection screen while maintaining a cool, comfortable temperature inside the building.

These reasons also convinced the architects at Studio Inhomogeneo SC. For their sun screen façade in Polanco they chose the HAVER Architectural Mesh EGLA-TWIN 4253. This wire mesh is characterized by its smooth flat surface on one side which reflects the sun light homogenously. In total three wire mesh elements of 6.50 m length and 2.90 m width are mounted over the three floors of the new renovated office building. The mounting consist of tension profiles, clevis screws and pressure springs.

The transparent character of the wire mesh cladding complements the optical effect of the facade and provides a good view out of the building.
